The Counseling Department at Freeport Middle School has developed a comprehensive, developmental guidance program that follows state and national school counseling guidelines. Our goal is to support the mission of Freeport Middle School through provision of services to students, staff and parents. We currently offer small group guidance, short- term individual counseling for students, which may lead to an out-of-school referral, and consulting/referral services for staff and parents.
We also provide classroom guidance lessons and serve on numerous committees, thus impacting the wider school.
